A 27-YEAR-OLD man was shot by an unidentified man after a heated argument Wednesday dawn at T. Caban St., Barangay Pasil, Cebu City.
The victim was identified as Roy Allen Abejo, single and temporarily residing in Barangay Pasil.
Police said that around 4 a.m., the victim’s neighbors heard Abejo having an argument with the suspect over personal matters.
The neighbors did not mind it after the argument was stopped and they heard footsteps leaving the house.
A minute later, they heard one gunshot, prompting them to look outside and saw a vague figure of a man running away from the house.
Responding policemen found Abejo sprawling on the ground inside his rented house with a gunshot wound on the left portion of his face penetrating through his right temple.
Police also recovered one empty shell of caliber .45 pistol and one slug.
Abejo’s cadaver was brought to SureLife Funeral Services for post mortem examination.
Police said they are eyeing three possible suspects, who are still under investigation. (Jerson B. Rufin and Akimie R. Losorata, PIT interns/Sunnex)
