Former OFW stabbed in Lahug-A A +A

A FORMER overseas Filipino worker was stabbed Thursday morning in Barangay Lahug, Cebu City.
Police identified the victim as Jozzer Gilbuena, 31, married, and a resident of Maracas, Barangay Lahug.
His wife said she was about to report to work when she was informed that her husband was stabbed. She then rushed to the area together with her mother-in-law and found the victim bloodied with several stab wounds.
They then rushed the victim to Don Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center for immediate medical attention.
Responding policemen recovered from the crime scene an ice pick used in the attack.
The police launched a manhunt operation against the suspect identified only as a certain “Wangwang.” (Akimie R. Losorata, PIT intern/Sunnex)
