The tweet was a reply to questions from Twitter users who asked if the number coding would be lifted for the day.
Earlier, Makati Public Safety Department head Hermenegildo San Miguel said the stretch of Paseo de Roxas from the corner of Ayala Avenue to Sedeño St. will be closed to traffic starting 10 a.m. Friday.
At 2 p.m., both lanes of Ayala Avenue from Makati Avenue up to Herrera Street will also be closed to traffic. (See main story on anti pork rally here.) (JK/Sunnex)
