Makati reroutes traffic for Megan Young’s victory parade-A A +A

A VICTORY parade is set on Friday afternoon for the newly-crowned Miss World 2013 Megan Young, who arrived in the Philippines on Thursday.
Starting at 2 p.m., heavy traffic is expected in the cities of Pasay and Makati, according to the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority.
The parade will kick off at the Petron Station at Buendia Avenue (Gil Puyat Ave.) corner Makati Avenue and will pass through Ayala avenue towards Edsa, culminating at SM Mall of Asia (MOA).

To give way to the parade, the traffic will be rerouted temporarily as follows: All vehicles from South Superhighway shall take Buendia (Gil Puyat) then turn right to Makati Avenue toward Makati CBD.
Traffic enforcers from the Makati Department of Public Safety will be deployed to guide motorists. (Third Anne Peralta/Sunnex)
