MANILA -- The head of the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) on Tuesday took responsibility for the photo of two of his employees photographed playing video games at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
POEA head Hans Leo Cacdac said the two are undergoing "disciplinary measures," though he did not identify them.
"I take full responsibility for the two POEA employees caught playing video games at NAIA 2. Disciplinary procedures have been commenced," he said on his Twitter account.
Netizens had been angered over the photo showing the two female employees appearing to play video games behind a counter at the NAIA.
It came out after visitors to a travel site voted the NAIA 1 as the world's worst airport. (JK/Sunnex)
