Work at SC, CA, Manila courts suspended due to religious event-A A +A

CHIEF Justice Ma. Lourdes Sereno on Friday ordered the suspension of work at the Supreme Court, Court of Appeals and Manila courts due to a religious event at the Luneta Park.
In an advisory, the Supreme Court public information office said the work suspension will took effect at 2:30 p.m.
"The Chief Justice has ordered work suspension starting at 2:30 p.m. today, October 25, in anticipation of possible traffic congestion due to an event at the Luneta," it said.
Earlier radio reports said a religious group is holding its anniversary at the Luneta Park starting at 4 p.m.
Police advised motorists and commuters using roads near the Luneta area to take alternate routes. (JK/Sunnex)
