Plane crash-lands in Pampanga; 2 passengers survive-A A +A

A CESSNA 152 aircraft crash-landed at the Sta. Fe lahar trail in Pampanga Wednesday, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) said.
CAAP said the plane's two passengers were found alive.
Radio reports said the training aircraft Cessna 152 plane (RPC-8832) crashed over the lahar trail at about 8:25 a.m.
The aircraft was later identified as owned by Omni Aviation Corporation, which also has a training school in Clark Free Port Zone, Pampanga.
The CAAP cited information reaching it showing the plane was sighted "intact" at Sta. Fe Lahar Trail in Pampanga.
It said an investigation is ongoing on the cause of the crash. (JK/Sunnex)
