Young girl killed in Quezon City fire-A A +A

A 14-YEAR-OLD girl was killed in a fire that hit at a residential area in Quezon City on Sunday.
Chief Inspector Aristotle Banaga of Quezon City Bureau of Fire Protection said the fire occurred along the Republic Avenue in Barangay West Fairview.
Initial investigation showed the burning debris collapsed on the girl when she returned to her burning house to save some belongings. She also initially helped bring a pail of water to put out the fire.
Damage due to the fire reached P100,000, bureau official said.
The investigators were still looking into what caused the fire. (Sunnex)
