Monday, November 4, 2013
A BOMB threat disrupted Monday morning the operations of the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board in Quezon City.
Radio reports said several employees of the head office were evacuated and gathered outside the gate while a police bomb squad searched the building.
The reports said police found a grenade at the men's room of the third floor, but added it was not in danger of exploding since it was heavily taped.
Quezon City Police District Station 10 Superintendent Lemuel Obon said the area was cleared to allow the transactions to continue.
Meanwhile, LTFRB Chairman Winston Ginez said they will review surveillance camera footage to see who went in and out of the building. (JK/Sunnex)
