Magnitude 6 quake hits Sultan Kudarat, aftershocks possible-A A +A

MANILA -- A magnitude 6 earthquake occurred in Sultan Kudarat in Mindanao Sunday night, with the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology warning of possible aftershocks.
Phivolcs, in its initial bulletin, said the quake was recorded at 7:04 p.m. and was tectonic in origin.
It said the epicenter was at 195 km southwest of Palimbang in Sultan Kudarat.
Phivolcs said the quake was felt at Intensity III in Malita, Davao del Sur; and at Intensity II in Davao City
However, it said damage is not likely. (JK/Sunnex)
