Sunday, December 8, 2013
MANILA -- Quezon province might be rainy as the tail-end of a cold front continues to affect Southern Luzon.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Sunday that Quezon province will experience cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rain and thunderstorms which may trigger flashfloods and landslides.
"Bicol region will be cloudy with light to moderate rain showers and thunderstorms while the regions of Cagayan, Cordillera and Ilocos will be cloudy with light rain," Pagasa said.
It added, "Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms."
Pagasa also said, "Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the east to northeast with slight to moderate seas." (SFP/Sunnex)
