MANILA -- Aurora and Quezon will be rainy on Friday while the tail-end of a cold front continues to affect Northern and Central Luzon, state weather forecasters said.
In its 5 a.m. bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that the moderate to heavy rain and thunderstorms over Aurora and Quezon may trigger flashfloods and landslides.
Meanwhile, skies will be cloudy, with light to moderate rain and thunderstorms over Bicol region, Pagasa said.
It added, the Cordilleras, Ilocos and Cagayan Valley regions will likely have light rain while Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rain or thunderstorms.
Pagasa also said, "Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast with slight to moderate seas." (SFP/Sunnex)
