Sunday, December 15, 2013
MANILA -- Cagayan Valley will likely experience light to moderate rain and thunderstorms as the tail-end of a cold front continues to hover around Northern Luzon, state weather bureau said on Sunday.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said in its 5 a.m. bulletin that while Cagayan Valley may experience moderate rain, the Cordilleras and Ilocos region will also be cloudy with light rain.
The state weather agency's forecast also showed that Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, Pagasa said that moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over the northern and eastern portions of Luzon.
The coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough, it added.
Pagasa also said, "Light to moderate winds coming from the northeast will prevail over the rest of Luzon and coming from the east to northeast over the rest of the country with slight to moderate seas." (SFP/Sunnex)
