4.5-magnitude quake strikes Luzon-A A +A

MANILA -- A magnitude 4.5 earthquake rocked parts of Luzon at 10:46 p.m. Wednesday.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the epicenter of the tremor, which is tectonic in origin, was located at 4 kilometers (km) southwest of San Quintin, Pangasinan. It has a depth of 29 km.
Intensity III was felt in Caloocan City, Mandaluyong City, Dagupan City, Baguio City, Binalonan, and Pangasinan.
Intensity II was recorded in Quezon City, Taguig City, Pasay City, Gapan City, Cabanatuan City, Pantabangan, Nueva Ecija, Baler Aurora, and Palayan City
Intensity I was also felt in Lucban and Quezon.
Phivolcs said there were no reported damages; however, aftershocks are expected. (NMP/Sunnex)
