Pagasa: Light rain over Luzon-A A +A

MANILA - Ilocos, Cordillera, Cagayan, Central Luzon as well as Metro Manila and Quezon province will likely have light rain on Thursday, state weather forecasters said.
Two weather systems continue to affect the country, the Northeast Monsoon (Hanging Amihan) over Northern Luzon and the trough of a low pressure area over Southern Mindanao, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said in its 5 a.m. bulletin,
Pagasa said, "Davao region, Soccksargen and Zamboanga peninsula will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rain showers and thunderstorms."
"The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rain or thunderstorms. ," it added,
The state weather bureau also said, "Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough while elsewhere in the country, winds will be light to moderate coming from the east to northeast with slight to moderate seas."
