MANILA -- The state weather forecasters delivered its good news Thursday morning -- the Philippines will be storm-free until the year ends.
The Northeast Monsoon directly affects Northern Luzon, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
Pagasa said, "The regions of Cagayan Valley, Ilocos and Cordillera will experience cloudy skies with light rain."
"Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms," it said.
Pagasa also said, "Moderate to strong winds blowing from the Northeast will prevail over Northern and Central Luzon and coming from the East to Northeast over Southern Luzon and Eastern Visayas."
"The coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the East to Northeast with slight to moderate seas," it added. (SFP/Sunnex)
