Pagasa: Cloudy, rainy weather over Philippines-A A +A

MANILA -- The tail-end of a cold front will continue to affect central and southern Luzon, bringing cloudy and rainy weather over the country, the state weather bureau said Friday.
In its 5 a.m. bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said cloudy skies with light rains and isolated thunderstorms will prevail over Bicol region, Eastern Visayas and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon.
It added that Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.
Meanwhile, Mindanao and the rest of the Visayas will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
Pagasa said moderate to strong winds from the northeast will be prevalent over Luzon, Visayas and Caraga region.
The coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate.
The weather bureau, in its weekly forecast, said no tropical cyclone is expected to enter the Philippine area of responsibility in the next two days. (NMP/Sunnex)
