MANILA -- The Northeast Monsoon will continue to affect most parts of the country, bringing cloudy and rainy weather, the state weather bureau said Sunday.

In its 5 a.m. bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said cloudy skies with light rains will prevail over the Visayas; regions of Cagayan and Bicol; provinces of Aurora, QUezon and Palawan.

It added that Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

Mindanao, meanwhile, will experience partly cloudy to cloudy isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Pagasa said moderate to strong winds from the northeast will prevail throughout the country.

In its weekly outlook, the weather bureau said no tropical cyclone is expected to enter the country in the next five days. (NMP/Sunnex)
