Trough of LPA to bring rains in eastern Mindanao-A A +A

THE trough of a low pressure area is affecting eastern Mindanao, bringing cloudy skies with light rains, the state weather bureau said Wednesday.
In its 5 a.m. bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the regions of Caraga and Davao will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.
It added that the rest of Mindanao will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
The weather bureau said cloudy skies with light rains will also prevail over Cagayan Valley, Bicol region, Eastern Visayas and the provinces of QUezon and Aurora.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon and Visayas will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains.
Pagasa said moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail throughout the country, while the coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
In its weekly outlook, the weather bureau said no tropical cyclone is expected to enter the Philippines in the next five days. (Sunnex)
