4 killed in Negros Occidental bus collision

FOUR people were killed and several others were injured in a bus collision in Hinigaran, Negros Occidental Tuesday, radio reports said.

According to Bombo Radyo, the four victims -- one female and three males -- died when a Ceres bus collided with a mini-bus around 10:30 a.m. in Sitio Ipil, Barangay Pilar Highway in Hinigaran town.

Police are yet to identify the four fatalities, including the injured victims.

The police said the Ceres bus was heading to Bacolod City, while the mini-bus was going to Kabankalan City.

Bombo Radyo said the drivers of the two buses are now in police custody. (Sunnex)
