4 quakes jolt Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao-A A +A

MANILA -- Four moderate earthquakes hit some parts of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao on Tuesday, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
In its bulletin, Phivolcs said the first quake occurred at 1:22 a.m. southwest of Sarangani town in Davao Occidental. It has a magnitude of 3.2 and its epicenter was traced at 109 kilometers (km).
The second tremor with a magnitude 3.4 happened at 1:33 a.m. Its epicenter was located 157 km northwest of the Calayan in Cagayan and had a depth of 111 km.
At 9:52 a.m., another quake with a magnitude 3.2 struck Surigao Del Norte with its epicenter at 75 km southeast of General Luna and had a depth of 70 km.
Four hours later, a fourth tremor with a magnitude 3.3 was recorded in Bohol province around 1:53 p.m. and its epicenter was located one km south of Sagbayan, Borja and had a depth of nine km.
Phivolcs did not report any felt intensity from the four tectonic quakes.
The agency added that no damage was reported from the tremors. No aftershocks were expected from the earthquakes, Phivolcs said. (PNA)
