Cunanan ‘certain’ Revilla called him over release of funds-A A +A

FORMER Technology Resource Center (TRC) director general Dennis Cunanan is sure that it was Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr. who called him up over the release of funds for bogus organizations linked to pork scam queen Janet Lim-Napoles.
"Ako po ay nanood din ng telebisyon at idol ko si Kap. Napanood ko rin ang Panday. Pamilyar po ang boses niya...Tiyak po ako," Cunanan told the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee, referring to Revilla's role on films and television.
Cunanan, however, admitted to the Senate committee investigating the pork barrel scam that he did not meet the senator personally.
Revilla was absent in Thursday's Blue Ribbon committee hearing but sent questions for Cunanan to chairman Senator Teofisto Guingona III.
Cunanan said he personally talked to Revilla, and Senator Jinggoy Estrada when the two senators were following up on the release of funds for the non-government organizations (NGOs).
Revilla and Estrada are both accused of plunder before the Office of the Ombudsman over their alleged involvement in the pork barrel scam.
The TRC director general said he called up the office of Senator Revilla to verify the signatures on the PDAF documents. It was Revilla's staff, lawyer Richard Cambe, who handed the phone to Revilla, Cunanan said.
Revilla had denied involvement in the PDAF scam. (Sunnex)
