Meralco implements 1-hour rotating brownouts

THE Manila Electric Company (Meralco) implemented a tentative rotating brownout on Friday afternoon due to a power deficiency affecting portions of Luzon.

In its Facebook page, Meralco said the areas affected are Manila, Quezon City, Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas and Marilao, Bulacan.

The advisory was posted past 2 p.m.

Meralco said the brownout may last until 4 p.m. Friday. (Sunnex)
