A NOTE threatening a bomb inside the Trinoma Mall in Quezon City alarmed authorities on Monday. Luckily, police said it was a hoax.

A radio report said the mall's janitress found a piece of paper at the first level of its carpark with writing, saying that there was a bomb inside the mall and will explode in an hour.

After a thorough search, the responding bomb squad did not find any piece of explosive in the area.

The threat did not cause panic among shoppers, the report said.

Police authorities as well as the mall's management are currently conducting investigation to determine to suspects behind the hoax bomb threat. (Sunnex)
