MANILA -- President Benigno Aquino III said Monday in his State of the Nation Address (Sona) that the administration is continuously working for the modernization of the Armed forces of the Philippines.

Ikinalulugod kong iulat, tuloy-tuloy ang modernisasyon ng AFP," he said.

On the part of the Philippine National Police, Aquino said the one to one police to pistol ration has been achieved by the current administration.

Ipinatupad ang Operation Lambat," he said.

(Sunnex)
