POLICE have given the all clear after investigating a bomb threat at the Far Eastern University-Manila and the FEU Institute of Technology on Thursday.

"As of 2:30 p.m., the Explosives and Ordnance Division of Manila has declared the FEU Campus free from any bomb threats," the university said in a statement.

Regular classes will resume Friday, August 1, it said.

Earlier Thursday, FEU called off classes due to a suspected bomb threat.

"All students have successfully evacuated the campus. FEU takes seriously its responsibility to ensure the safety and security of its students and employees," the university said.

School authorities reportedly received the threat through a text message. (Sunnex)
