FOUR people, including three women, were injured when a bomb exploded at a restaurant in Glan town in Sarangani province on Saturday night.

Regional police spokesperson Senior Inspector Aldrin Gonzales named the injured victims as Renante, Lorena Alcala, Josefa Alcala and Realyn Yangon.

Renante and the two Alcalas are still confined at a hospital while Yangon was initially taken to a hospital but was later discharged because her injuries were only minor.

Gonzales said the explosion occurred around 11:40 p.m. at Norlan Special Bahalina and Grill at Barangay Calabanit.

Experts from the Explosive and Ordnance Disposal and Sarangani provincial police are currently investigating to establish the identities of the suspects and their motive, Gonzales said. (VR/Sunnex)
