Magnitude-5.2 quake jolts Cagayan

A MAGNITUDE 5.2 earthquake jolted the province of Cagayan at 10:49 a.m. Monday.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the epicenter of the quake was located at 14 kilometers (km) north west of Calayan, Cagayan.

The tremor, which is tectonic in origin, has a depth of 32 km.

Intensity three was felt in Sta. Ana, Cagayan.

Phivolcs said there were no reported damages, but aftershocks are expected. (Sunnex)
