Mild quake jolts Quezon

A MAGNITUDE 5.3 earthquake jolted Quezon province on Wednesday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
In a bulletin, Phivolcs said the quake which struck at 9:43 p.m. was located at 92 kilometers northeast of Jomalig, Quezon.
The quake, which was tectonic in origin, had a depth of 10 kilometers.
Intensity 3 was reported in Quezon City.
No damage was reported and no aftershocks expected. (Sunnex)
