APO frat linked to 3 blasts

JUSTICE Secretary Leila de Lima said Tuesday that members of the Alpha Phi Omega (APO) were also responsible for the two other explosions in Metro Manila.
The fraternity group was tagged in the post Bar blast in De la Salle University on September 26 where nearly 50 persons were injured.
The two other grenade explosions were on 2008 near La Consolacion College on Mendiola Street in Manila injuring 22 people and at the University of Perpetual Help in Las Piñas City early this year injuring 14.
De Lima said the three attacks were connected because they were all perpetrated by people belonging to APO fraternity as she cited a report from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
“The authors of these incidents, of these grenade-throwing incidents, are connected. That’s according to the NBI investigation,” she said. (Sunnex)
