Drug agency nets 3 syndicate men

ZAMBOANGA CITY – Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives have arrested three syndicate members, including a former town councilor, in a buy-bust operation here, an official said Sunday.
PDEA Regional Director Adzhar Albani said the three local drug syndicate members were arrested in a buy-bust operation around 4:30 p.m. Saturday in the village of Tetuan, this city.
Albani identified the arrested suspects as Zam-Zam Tulawie, 23; Inderapatra Adam, 32; and Lamimer Tulawie, 36, a former councilor of Talipao town in the province of Sulu.
He said the suspects are members of the Sakidal-Amiril group, which is a local drug syndicate operating in the region. (Bong Garcia)
