Quake jolts Surigao anew

AFTER the 5.1-magnitude earthquake early Friday, another tremor hit Surigao province at night.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said that a magnitude 4 earthquake rocked the Siargao area in Surigao del Norte at 6:40 p.m. Friday.
The Phivolcs said the quake was tectonic in origin.
It added the epicenter of the quake was at 59 kilometers northeast of General Luna in Siargao.
The quake was felt at Intensity I in Dapa, Del Carmen and Socorro in Siargao.
No damage and casualty was reported and no aftershock was expected in the quake. (Sunnex)
