Meralco: Power restoration underway (2:28 p.m.)
MANILA Electric Company (Meralco) on Sunday said they have deployed line crew units to restore power supply in at least 46 percent of their franchise area that suffered brown out due to typhoon Frank.
Meralco said at present, areas that were out of electricity are in Pasay, Pasig, Manila, some parts of Quezon City, Paranaque, Caloocan, Mandaluyong and other areas.
According to Meralco the power outage was due to the toppling of some of their posts and tripping of transformers. (MSN/Sunnex)
