Fire devastated 80 houses (4:10 p.m.)
CEBU CITY — A fire broke out past 2 p.m. Tuesday in three sitios in Barangay Basak-San Nicolas, this city.
Radio reports said the fire department was able to control it by 3:30 p.m.
It affected 80 houses in Sitio Lupa, Sitio Bag-ong Katilingban and Sitio Redrad.
The Cebu City fire department is still investigating the cause of the fire which reportedly burned 80 houses made of light materials.
Firetrucks from Mandaue, Lapu-Lapu and Consolacion also assisted in controlling the fire. (Sunnex)
