Kidnappers free Jolo trader (10:30 a.m.)
ZAMBOANGA CITY -– Kidnappers have freed a Filipino-Chinese businessman they recently seized in the island province of Sulu, a military official disclosed.
1Lt. Steffani Cacho, information officer of the Western Mindanao Command (Westmincom), identified the freed victim as Dionghan Que, 60.
Que, who owns several businesses, was seized by gunmen while he was on his way home around 5:30 p.m. Monday in the village Kakuyagan, Jolo town. (Bong Garcia/Sunnex)
