THE Provincial Agriculture Office (PAO) had gathered small fishermen, farmers, sugar planters, irrigators, cooperatives and members of the "Pundok sa Hiniusang Magbabaul sa Habagatan" for an agricultural credit forum.
The activity has provided a venue for information sharing and gave participants the opportunity to know more about windows of credit that are available to them.

It also opened a way for them to participate in the agricultural credit and microfinance program that will lead to an improved livelihood for the participants.
PAO information officer Nitz Bangay said their office has invited resource persons to share with the agricultural sector their credit and loan schemes.
Among the speakers were top officials from its conduit banks like the LandBank, Development Bank of the Philippines, Allied Bank and Cooperative Bank.
Norman William S. Kraft, director of the public affairs and information services of the Agricultural Credit Policies Council (ACPC), was also one of the speakers who discussed credit policies and agri-credit support framework. (Edmund B. Sestoso)
