‘Watever’

A GROUP of different people from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao has come up with an idea of having something that they never thought they can do. But it happened.

Jefferson Rolida, Dennis Mackun, Sherwin Laus, Jondi Lacson, Daniel Lim, Miles Anthony Siao, Jim Anthony Uy, and Mandel Anthony Siao met for only less than a year but eventually become business partners. Their enterprising minds have put together “Watever Family KTV Bar” and “Lokal Grill and Seafoods” in Corrales Avenue, located at the same spot where Only-In-Cagayan (OIC) once stood.

Each one of the eight hunks has his own business that’s why putting up the new venture isn’t really a big deal. They have the skills to run a business, that’s why – and the charisma, too.

Why “Watever Family KTV Bar”?

Just remember Ogie Alcasid saying “whatever yaya, you’re such as loser” to Michael V. in their recent movie. That’s how the name came to be. The group says they adopted it as a name after hearing the phrase too often from children, who basically influenced them to call it that way.

As to the cuisine at the Lokal Grill and Seafoods, it’s definitely Filipino – the taste, style and even the ambiance. This is because they want their clients to be satisfied and be really impressed when dining in.

I personally experienced the tasty cuisine and I had my tummy full. What’s catching at the Grill is the “sutokil” experience where the clients are allowed to choose any seafood or fish and they cook it the way clients want it to be.

If you want to unwind after a very hectic schedule, the Grill is the perfect place for you to dine. Later, you can belt out at the KTV Bar.
