BDO now accepts Sun Life premiums

Saturday, July 24, 2010

IN ITS continuing efforts to provide convenient service to its policyholders, Sun Life Financial-Philippines has partnered with two of the country's leading banks to provide a new service that will make it easier and faster for policyholders to pay their life insurance premiums and pre-need installments.

In addition to the Bank of the Philippine Islands, Banco de Oro now opens its doors to all Sun Life policyholders who wish to pay their premiums through the auto debit arrangement (ADA) facility.

Updates on President Benigno Aquino III's presidency

This facility allows Sun Life clients who are also BPI or BDO account holders to have their life insurance premiums debited automatically by Sun Life from their BPI or BDO accounts two days before a premium is due.

Pre-need installments may also be debited automatically from their BPI accounts.

Sun Life reports that the ADA facility is applicable for peso-denominated traditional and Variable Universal Life (VUL) policies under varying types of premium payment modes.

The facility is applicable only for renewal payments.

In order to avail of the facility, one must have an existing savings or checking deposit account with BPI or BDO. The policy/account holder may also enroll his immediate family's traditional or VUL policies to the ADA facility.

Enrollment forms are now available at all Sun Life Customer centers or may be downloaded from the Sun Life website at www.sunlife.com.ph

Sun Life Policyholders are encouraged to avail of this new service and enjoy the convenience and benefits that it offers. For more details, please get in touch with Sun Life Customer Care SunLink at telephone no. 8499888. (PR)
