Wednesday, February 1, 2012
MORINGA, locally known as malunggay, is starting to heat up the market and some enterprising individuals do business like striking the iron while it’s hot.
While malunggay is known to be a powerful tool to treat years-old diseases. It can also be an instrument for enterprising individuals to earn and treat their “cancerous pocket.”

“Amazing, but true!” Dave Madayag, distribution specialist, Manila Natures, said of Moringa Life Oil, a food supplement that contains extracted oil from malunggay packed on food-based soft gel capsule to help treat even the cancer patients.
Madayag said Malungai Life Oil be an alternative way for treatment as powerful as chemical-based medicines are to sick people.
Moringa is nine times the protein in yogurt. Proteins are the building blocks of human bodies. It is ten times the vitamin A in carrots that acts as a shield against diseases of the eyes, skin, heart, and diarrhea and many other ailments. It also has vitamin C that strengthens the immune system and fight infectious diseases including colds and flu. It is 17 times the Calcium in milk to help build strong bones and teeth and helps prevent osteoporosis; 15 times the Potassium in banana, essential for the brain and nerves.
Bananas are excellent source of such mineral — Moringa is even better; and 25 times the Iron in Spinach. Iron is essential for the red blood cells to adequately carry oxygen for use throughout the body.
If used properly, experts say, malunggay can treat tumor, prostate, radioactive, skin, anemic, hypertensive, cadiotonic, diabetis, diuretic, hypocholestemia, thyroid, tonic, hapatorenal, antipyretic, purgative, snakebite, scorpion bites, colitis, diarrhea, digestif, dysentery, flatulence, ulcer/gastritis, rheumatism, joint pain, edema, arthritis, immune-stimulant, lupus, anti-spasmodic, epilepsy, hysteria, headache, viral infections, among others.
