Tuesday, February 7, 2012
SINCE its inception, South Bank Inc. (SBI) has provided the right complement of financial products and services to businesses and individuals in Cagayan de Oro City.
From its origin as the Kagay-Anon Rural Bank, the Gopel-Pelaez Group took over the management in February 8, 2005 with Dr. Rafaelita P. Pelaez at the helm as chairman of the Board and Fruto M. Teodorico Jr. as president.

Today, SBI operates through five offices all over Northern Mindanao, particularly in Cagayan de Oro City, Libona and Kitaotao in Bukidnon.
The 37 men and women that fuel these units create their mark in the local banking industry through professionalism, and the distinct brand of Kagay-Anon customer service.
This achievement comes as a humble milestone to celebrate seven years of quality service…and counting!
“The strength of SBI is founded on two things: one, we have the unqualified trust of our clients who have been loyal and supportive; and two, that of the Bank’s stability amidst the economic turmoil that beset our country these past years,” says Felix F. Collantes, the chief operating officer of SBI.
To commemorate this special event, a Eucharistic Mass will be celebrated with Msgr. Tex Legitimas at SBI’s Kauswagan main office.
South Bank remains firm in its commitment to be the leading rural bank in the Region and in Mindanao.
This mission is secured through innovations in its products and services, and continued investments in its clientele and people, for 2012 and beyond. (PR)
