High-rise pay parking proposed

COUNCILOR Alden Bacal proposed last week before members of the City Council to construct high-rise pay parking spaces in downtown Cagayan de Oro.
Bacal, chairman of the committee on public utilities, said the area presently occupied by the Philippine Postal Corporation (PPC) along Chavez-Rizal Streets could be ideal for the project to help ease traffic congestion in major thoroughfares.

The property is owned by the City Government that can be used when the contract with PPC expires, Bacal said.
