AMERICAN shoe brand Florsheim introduces another top of the line products.
Florsheim, maker of quality stylish and comfortable shoes since 1892, now displays a new line of comfort technology shoes at its SM Supermalls branch in Cagayan de Oro.
JZ L. Cuay, store supervisor, said over the years their line of shoes has satisfied the comfort of their clients all over the world.
“But through the modern technology, our team has launched another of the line products that are scientifically designed to provide more satisfaction to our clients,” she said.
Cuay said the newly launched comfort technology shoes still following the trademark wing-tip classic design but it was made more durable, full of comfort perfect for a whole day use.
She said in addition to the new technology, Florsheim added a perfect touch to make their clients’ feet breathable as it has a foot bed cover that absorbs humidity and release moisture due to the availability of active Carbon.
The shoes are made of foam base that provides anti-fungal, microbial and shock absorbing.
Cuay added that the heal pad is very light with a contoured arch and heel cup made from recycled foam to provide more comfort “as if you haven’t worn a shoe.”
Florsheim products prices range from P5,000-P8,000, admittedly more expensive compared to other brands. Made from pure leather, calf skin, dear, kangaroo and cow, Florsheim products accordingly would last a decade.
Cuay said because of its classic touch and elegance, Florsheim products are patronized by many such as professionals, dignitaries, sultans, and politicians and even to the present generation.
She even said their sales this year is quite impressive compared to the previous years.
“This is an indication that more people now choose quality and durable shoes,” she added.
In 2010, Florsheim SM Cagayan de Oro branch closed shop due to sales downtrend after five years of operation. It reopened only in October on that same year at its new location sharing with the Naturalizer boutique.
As demand grows this year, another Florsheim branch would open a 60-square-meter stall in time for the opening of Ayala’s Centrio Mall also in Cagayan de Oro on October.
The new branch, Cuay said, would be displaying updated designs of shoes, bags, wallets and accessories for men and women, shoe care products such as leather protectors and leather lotions for lasting shoes.
In 1892, Milton Florsheim began producing shoes in a small factory located in Chicago, Illinois.
The first pairs of Florsheim shoes made by Milton and his father, Sigmund, were a remarkable combination of style, comfort and high quality workmanship.
But shoes were not the only things Milton was building. He realized from the very beginning that a high quality product was only one of the factors necessary for success. A strong distribution network would be essential in making certain his exceptional footwear found its customers – entrepreneurs and self-starters in big cities and small towns across a fast-growing nation.
As a new class of working men and professionals emerged, Florsheim shoes came to symbolize success. They also signaled a deep respect for yourself as well as for those with whom you did business. The tradition continues to this day. Though the specific shoes may change from season to season and year to year, all Florsheim shoes are designed for The Man Who Cares.
