Computer store opens in Cagayan de Oro

HEWLETT-PACKARD (HP), in partnership with Global Chips Technology in Cagayan de Oro, opened its new store along Chaves-Rizal Streets on Tuesday.
The store was previously located along Abejuela-Tiano Streets, a block away from its new location.
General Manager William Malagar said customers can find high-end laptops, desktops, printers, inks, toner and HP servers on very competitive prices at HP Store-Global Chips Technology.
Malagar said the computer shop has several brands of laptops and desktop which include Agus, Acer, Apple and IBM Lenovo.
“We also service our customers with their defective units for free under the maximum average warranty of three to five years. We repair and replace defective pieces,” Malagar told SunStar Cagayan de Oro. “For units with no more warranty, we collect minimal charges.”
As an information technology (IT) solutions provider, Malagar added: “We have a commitment to deliver our services on time with quality results.”
In his message during the short program, Ruben Vegafria of Promote CDO said the store’s opening caught a big opportunity for IT business in Cagayan de Oro.
Vegafria said with the onset of malls and superstores in the city, IT is a demand market.
Rexie Joy Orejola and April Rose Pardillo, promoters of HP in Cagayan de Oro, proudly said HP is the leading brand in terms of laptops, desktops and printers. (Loui S. Maliza)
