CAGAYAN de Oro’s biggest product exhibition opens Tuesday here at the Atrium of LimKetKai Center.
Spearheaded by the Cagayan de Oro Chamber of Commerce and Industry Foundation, Inc. (OroChamber), the event showcases local products and services; people and industries; and places in Northern Mindanao region.
The three-day display of products ranging from aqua-marine, agribusiness, bamboo, handicrafts, ICT and eco-tourism destinations, runs until October 4, 2012.
Themed “Helping MSMEs Rebuild,” exposition will be consisted of forums on the following: Marketing Strategies on October 3 at 9am to 11:30am; Livelihood cum Entrepreneurship on October 3 at 1pm to 5:00pm; and Financing Forum on October 4 at 9am to 11:30am, all at the Limketkai Atrium. The 1st Cagayan de Oro Business Conference will be held on October 4 at 2:30pm to 8pm at the Grand Caprice Restaurant; Job Fair on October 2-4; and Scholarship Fair on October 2-4, all at the Limketkai Atrium. The year’s biggest trade exhibit in Northern Mindanao would also showcase various skills of the city’s and neighboring regions exceptional people. Ambassador Harry K. Thomas graced Tuesday’s event highlighting all-out support of the U.S. government to the Philippines’ economic growth.
Thomas admitted being honored to become the guest of honor during the event even as he renewed announcements of the U.S. government to back the Philippines’ up with its economic reforms.
He also lauded Oro Chamber for being the best business organization in the entire country and spearheading the display of local products.
