Misamis Oriental hikes 2013 budget

THE Misamis Oriental Province’s 2013 annual budget has increased to P1.6 billion, up P300 million from last year’s budget.
The 2013 increased annual budget was approved that even members of the opposition were one with the administration as it would ensure the effective delivery of basic services to the people of the province.
Vice Governor Norris Babiera told Sun.Star Cagayan de Oro that parts of the budget are for the health and services; road maintenance and infrastructure projects; departmental budget; Philhealth Indigency program; opening of the eighth hospital in Alubijid town; and other health care services. (NJM)
