ANAKCIANO Inc. (ACI) recently launched its premium high quality hog/swine, poultry and game foul feeds at Marco Hotel in Barangay Cugman, Cagayan de Oro City.
The ACI, owned by the Unabia family, presently has a feed mill plant in Zone 6 Umalag, Barangay Tablon.
Misamis Oriental Representative Peter Unabia (first district) said with the launching of ACI's new feeds products, raisers can assure of quality, safe and affordable feeds that can be bought locally in the market.
Unabia said ACI is making feeds that are safe for human consumption and not harmful to the hogs and layers, as their feeds have high quality materials being closely monitored by the company's chemist.
He said the key to the success of his other businesses - Manok ni Sr. Pedro, Fido Prito, Manok Pinoy, Romana and aTfi -- is the ACI feeds they provide to their livestock.
ACI is a foundation established in 2000, which continued to support the less privileged people in the community through backyard layers and hog raising as part of the company's moral obligation.
Unabia said Manok ni Sr. Pedro has been one of the best roasted chicken shops that sell around the country, which is the product of backyard farmer beneficiaries of ACI who produced P15 million worth of products in 2010.
"Our finish products are strictly tested and passed the standards of the Bureau of Animal Industry," he said.
He cited that ACI feeds assure quality control of the product and even if ingredients are getting expensive, their products remain the same.
Unabia said they expanded the ACI feeds because their beneficiaries are also growing, more of whom are getting into the business.
As of present, there were 3,000 beneficiaries of ACI who are given with free livestock, vitamins and ready market of their products.
