LEAD Resources Management Corp. (LRMC) is opening its doors to Muslim Filipinos as it intends to hire 50 employees for managerial positions in Mecca.

Lou Noble, LRMC senior marketing specialist, said they are hiring Muslims as required by their employer, Al Ahlia Restaurants Co., a leading multi-national company in the Middle East and a franchise owner of Kentucky Fried Chicken, Krispy Kreme, Hardee's and TGI Friday's.

Noble said this is also part of the employer's requirement not to accept Christians as employees for the job in Mecca.

He said qualified applicants must be 21 to 28 years old, a fresh graduate of any course though they prefer graduates of Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management, with a good command of the English language, with leadership ability and with valid passports.

Noble said LRMC had already started screening applicants since September 20 at the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) for the managerial position along with other 400 employment positions bound for Saudi Arabia while the final interview will be on September 24 at Dynasty Hotel.

He added that Ismael Azmy, Human Resource director of Al Ahlia Restaurants and Donna Maneclang, owner of LRMC, will arrive during the final interview to oversee the final screening.

Noble assured that those who passed the standards of LRMC will immediately depart to Mecca and Saudi Arabia in one week.

"We are already provided by our employer with a Black Visa for the immediate travel of the qualified applicants," he said.

Noble said from the time LRMC was organized in 1976, it has continuously strived to recruit and compile a pool of professionals, skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled workers, talents and entertainers of a broad range in all categories to suit even the most discriminating requirements.

"We assure the safety of our manpower for we have earned the loyalty of our principals and employers who have been doing business with us over the years.

The impressive list covers countries in the Middle East, the Asean and Asia Pacific basin with some countries in North America and Europe," he said. (Nicole J. Managbanag)
