The Rotary Club of Cagayan de Oro is composed of distinguished all-men professionals, business and community leaders who share the common passion of serving the community selflessly.

It is a non-religious, culturally diverse and non-political club that strives to promote equality and high ethical standards among men through project and activities that cater to various sectors of society advocating the importance of education, health improvement and poverty alleviation.

At Barangay Mambuaya, all kids were led to the covered court of the area, bringing with them their own utensils as they patiently wait for their turn for a sumptuous and healthy meal.

The meals were personally served by Rotary members and their families to the children who can't help but show off wide smiles on their faces.

The Rotary Club also announced during the activity that soccer will be introduced in the barangay.

JJ Ramnoni, born and raised in Calcutta India and a proud member of the Rotary Club, explained to the children that the group will provide free soccer training, since he is fond of the game himself.

Ramnoni said playing soccer will encourage the children in the remote area to have confidence to compete with other players from other teams.

Nacaya also emphasized that being the newly elected president; he will make use of his term to provide service to the community selflessly.

Aside from the monthly feeding activities, the Rotary Club also provides medical missions to other chosen charities, lip and palate operation for children, scholarships and other activities that will benefit the less fortunate children.
