Tourism Board reveals Ms. Kagay-an 2012 bets

THE Cagayan de Oro City Tourism Board recently presented the 12 candidates for the Ms. Kagay-an 2012 pageant.
The Board, headed by its chairperson Mrs. Rhia Rita Abalos and competition chairs and board members Ms. Jenny Boo and Ms. Gean Tulang-Cesar, introduced the lovely and witty candidates to Mayor Vicente Y. Emano and to the members of the City Council, headed by Vice Mayor Ian Cesar Acenas.
The mayor commended the board for coming up with a great line-up of participants.
The candidates are Greanne Trisha T. Mendoza, an event organizer; Maria Leslie Angelina P. Ghan, a graduating civil engineering student; Maria Elaine Angelica P. Ghan, a nursing student; Lovely Jane B. Estampa, a legal analyst; Kris C. Pajaron, an HRM student; Emie Lou E. Yamba, a travel agent; Queenie C. Bahian, Ms. COC Phinma titlist; Roxinne Jearl D. Monterde, Ms. MUST 2010 titlist; Juriel Valledor, a student of Liceo de Cagayan University; Sidney Taboclaon, Bb. Tagoloan 2011; Mari Jale O. Castillo, a student from Xavier University; and Karla Mae M. Laraga, a CPA who works for SGV.
The finalists were meticulously selected and deliberated by competent individuals during the three screening events earlier held at Rhapsody Suites, Hotel Koresco and Rodelsa Hall of Liceo de Cagayan University.
The board has prepared numerous activities for the finalist, which includes community service involvement, photo shoots, guestings and personality development seminar.
Official press presentation of the candidates will be on June 23 while the talent presentation is on August 12 at SM City and the swimsuit competition on August 18 at Hotel Koresco.
The gown and casual wear competition is slated on August 22 at Rodelsa Hall while the coronation night will be on August 26 at The Atrium of Limketkai Center.
The Ms. Kagay-an competition is organized by the City Tourism Board in coordination with the city government of Cagayan de Oro and the Department of Tourism Northern Mindanao.
