Celebrate Chinese New Year at Limketkai Mall

IT HAS been a tradition for Limketkai Mall to celebrate a spectacular, fun-filled Chinese New Year every year.
And this year is no exemption.
The Chinese New Year is the biggest annual festival for the Chinese-Filipinos.
This year, the Ateneo Ricardo Leong Center for Chinese Studies, in partnership with Xavier Center for Culture and the Arts, is holding the 7th Spring Film Festival at the Rotunda of Limketkai Mall on February 7, 8 and 9 at 5 p.m.
There are five films in the 7th Spring Film Festival movie line-up that include "The Piano in a Factory," "Love for Life" and "Storm Warriors," to name a few.
Admission is free.
This year's festival features different faces of Chinese society.
To officially open the Chinese New Year Celebration, taste the different Chinese food and delicacies on February 8, 9 and 10 with a three-day Chinese Food Bazaar at the Rotunda to be held from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
As the Chinese New Year falls on February 10, Sunday, expect a day-long event for the whole family. There will be a motorcade at 8 a.m. from the Rodelsa Circle to Limketkai Mall, to be spearheaded by the Misamis Oriental Filipino Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. (MOFCCCII).
And don't miss the Lion Dance at 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. around the mall.
Afternoon performances during the three-day event will be shown at 4 p.m. with the Mindanao University of Science and Technology Gintong Amihan Dance Troupe on February 8, Kong Hua School on February 9 and Oro Christian School on February 10.
These exciting events will be held at the Rotunda of Limketkai Mall.
So get ready to usher in the Year of the Green Water Snake and join the celebration at Limketkai Mall.
